At Park SOS, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile application and website.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our service:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In).
- Vehicle Data: License plate number and optional vehicle description for tracking.
- Location Data: GPS coordinates of vehicle sightings you report or receive alerts for.
- Telegram ID: If you choose to link your account for notifications.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to:
- Send you notifications about your own vehicles.
- Show your public profile (if enabled) to others when you report a car.
- Generate community statistics and hotspots.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Under GDPR and Store policies, you have the Right to Erasure. You can delete your account and all associated personal data directly within the app settings or via our Account Deletion page. Upon deletion, your profile and vehicles are removed from our systems immediately. Sightings you reported will be anonymized.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase for authentication and database management, and AWS S3 for secure photo storage. These providers are GDPR compliant.
